Terms of Service
Welcome to Leduvo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Leduvo website at leduvo.app (the "Website") and, when available, the Leduvo mobile application (the "App"), collectively referred to as the "Service." By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About the Service
Leduvo is an AI-powered platform that transforms training videos into structured, multi-language lessons. The Service is currently in pre-launch phase. The Website allows you to join a waitlist to be notified when the App becomes available.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. Waitlist Registration
- By submitting your email address to join our waitlist, you agree to receive email communications from Leduvo regarding product updates, launch notifications, and related announcements.
- You may unsubscribe from these communications at any time by contacting us at info.leduvo@gmail.com.
- Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the App, any specific features, or any pricing terms.
4. User Accounts (When Available)
When the App launches, the following terms will apply to registered accounts:
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
5. Acceptable Use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Upload content containing personally identifiable information of others without their consent.
- Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service without our written permission.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
6. Your Content
6.1 Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content (including videos, images, and text) that you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). Leduvo does not claim ownership of Your Content.
6.2 License to Us
By uploading content to the Service, you grant Leduvo a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process, transform, store, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete Your Content or close your account.
6.3 AI Processing
Your Content may be processed by third-party AI services (such as OpenAI and Groq) to provide transcription, summarization, and other features. We do not use Your Content to train AI models. You acknowledge and agree to this processing as a necessary part of the Service.
6.4 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have all necessary rights, permissions, and consents to upload and process it through the Service. This includes obtaining consent from any individuals appearing in your videos.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, logos, trademarks, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Leduvo and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.
8. Pricing and Payments
Pricing for the App will be announced at launch. Leduvo reserves the right to introduce free and paid tiers, modify pricing, or change features at any time. Waitlist members will be notified of pricing before the App becomes available.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or error-free.
- AI-generated content (transcriptions, summaries, subtitles) will be completely accurate.
- The Service will meet your specific requirements.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Leduvo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Leduvo and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of a third party.
12. Termination
- We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice.
- You may stop using the Service at any time. To remove your waitlist entry, contact us at info.leduvo@gmail.com.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6.1, 9, 10, 11, and 14 survive termination.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email to waitlist members or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the applicable laws of the country in which Leduvo operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which Leduvo is established.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
